“Day in the Life” documentary family sessions
This is what Family Photography should be. Freezing time- the crazy, simple moments that are fleeting. Let me into your world for a bit- whether it’s the morning routine, or a special family gathering. I’d love to be a fly on the wall and document CANDID ordinary moments that are in fact, beautiful. “DAY in the LIFE sessions” can be as short as two hours or as long as a full day.
Day in the Life Basic Package
Pricing starts at $650 for a 2 hour session and includes:
40 hi-RES digital images with print release.
Longer session times are available for an additional $100 per hour and will include extra digital images.
Day in the Life Premium Package
Pricing starts at $900 for a 2 hour session and includes:
40 HI-rES digital images with print release
a $75 print credit towards a professional lab
a premium custom 30 page lAY-FLAT 12 x 8 photo book.
DAY IN THE LIFE SESSION FAQ
WhAt are these sessions actually like? Will you pose us at all?
we will chat ahead of time and pick a time of day when there is the most expected activity in your home. The shorter the session, the more helpful it will be to plan a high interaction time. After that- it’s really simple! I show up and aim to get out of your way. I want to capture real moments, so do your best to act like I’m not there. I generally do not do any posing or guiding (save for turning off certain lights). However, I am happy to include a couple posed shots if you’d like.
What if my home is messy?
I don’t care! It’s up to you how little or how much you want to clean up. 10 years from now, smudges on glass windows or piles of your kids clothes might be endearing in your photos. Embrace the craziness! we can also pick an alternate family favorite location if being in the home is not possible.
What should we wear?
I recommend wearing what you’re comfortable in! It may be best to avoid bright neon colors. However, ultimately I encourage you to be yourself.
Will these work for families with older kids?
Yes! Let’s discuss further and figure out the best way to capture connection in your family.
