Amy Miller of Beloved Photography is now offering a Boutique School Portrait service to small schools, preschools, or co-ops in the Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas. Amy aims to capture the true essence of a child in a relaxed manner. Instead of forcing a smile, Amy will interact with each child in a lighthearted, relaxed way to help them let their true light shine! There is no cost to schools for hosting, in fact, they will receive free teacher shots, class photos, and more. Pricing is similar to big box companies, yet parents will receive a much more personal level of communication. Check out the FAQ below for more info!

My passion is to photograph children in a way that shows their natural selves. A main focus of my photography business is documenting families in an authentic way. In regards to school pictures, my aim is to stand out by offering a unique approach- instead of forcing children to smile or stiff poses, I interact with them in a way that encourages laughter and puts them at ease.ease.

I will photograph each child at the school and then families can decide if/what they will order. Within a week of shoot day, families are sent links to password-protected online ordering galleries. Galleries are set up according to grade, classroom, or whatever grouping which makes sense for the school. Each family will be provided 2-5 images per child, presented in both color and black and white. The family may chose the photos they want printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. I provide professional prints, products, and digital images for future printing and sharing. A detailed PDF describing all ordering procedures and photoshoot day preparation will be provided to your school to be distributed to families prior to photo day.
Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school within four weeks of picture day. They will be packaged and sorted for each family.
I photograph indoors with strobe flash, and a variety of solid background options are available.
I provide the school with all high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, school ID's, or however the school wishes to use the images.
I handle any questions from parents and families about ordering and products.
I am willing to work with your school to provide custom services that fit your unique needs.
I will donate a percentage of my profit back to your school and I take staff and class photos depending on the school’s needs.

As of 2023, I am able to work with schools as small as 30 kids and as large as 300, and I am also willing to discuss further options if your school is larger than that.

I have competitive rates and nothing is due up front, all profit is made from ordering with a quick turn around. I offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products. (*please note, prices are subject to change). See sample pricing below.

I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year, however I currently have the most availability in the winter or spring.

I do! If the school needs class photos I will take them either on photo day or arrange another time to come and take them. The school receives these images for free and prints are offered to parents at a nominal cost.
