What is Beloved Photography’s Approach to School Photos?
Amy Miller of Beloved photography loves to capture children in a way that shows their natural selves. A main focus of her photography business is documenting families in an authentic way. In regards to school pictures, her aim is to stand out by offering a unique approach- instead of forcing children to smile or stiff poses, she interacts with them in a way that encourages laughter and puts them at ease. She also donates a portion of her net profit back to the school.
When will Beloved Photography be at our school?
Wednesday, October 1st through Friday, October 3rd. Your school staff will communicate which day your child is assigned to be photographed. All children will be photographed unless requested otherwise and there is no obligation to order. Siblings will be photographed together as well.
What should my child wear?
Please avoid graphics, neon clothing or solid black. All shots are shoulder up on a solid black backdrop. No props will be used.
How will I order?
Within two weeks of your child’s picture day, you will be emailed the link from Beloved Photography to your child’s private gallery on photoday.com. There will be 2-5 images of each child as well as a class photo. Images will be in color and back and white. Beloved Photography does not choose which photos you order to print, you do. You will be able to order prints, canvas wraps, and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for ten (10) calendar days. (ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN THAT TEN DAY PERIOD). Once orders have been placed, your digitals will be emailed and your photos and/or canvas wraps will be delivered to your school in about 2-3 weeks.
